Q&A

Q: Do you have a gift registry?
A: Since we will both be moving to Boston, we kindly ask you not to bring physical gifts. We would appreciate any financial donations you could make. You can make a gift via the bank accounts on the gift registry section of the website or using Twint/Venmo.

Q: What will the weather be like?
A: Spring in northern Italy is usually mild and sunny, with average temperatures around 18–22°C. So make sure to bring a jacket, as well as a hat or sunglasses, in case the sun decides to shine.

Q: Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

A: The ceremony, weather permitting, will be held outside, the apero will be both indoors and outdoors, and the dinner will be held inside

Q: What is the dress code?

A: Elegant to fit a villa, and if you like spring bright colours

Q: Is transportation provided between the hotel and the venue?

A: Yes, if you are staying at Bergamo Executive. The other listed hotels are within walking distance.

Q: Can I park at Villa Canton?

A: Yes, but spaces are limited. There are probably around 30 spaces total. There are more parking spaces within walking distance.

Q: Are there possible activities before the wedding?

A: Yes, if you are in the area the days before the wedding, let us know we can organise different activities to do together. If you are planning to extend your stay and are coming from abroad there is plenty to explore in Bergamo, Milano or in Switzerland, Miryam’s home country. Check out the travel section of our website.

Q: Are children welcome?
A: Children are welcome, the venue has a play spot for children, and will also provide adequate meals, especially for them. Let us know their ages in the RSVP.

Q: What language will the ceremony be in?
A: The main language will be English, and some translation will be in German. Most guests speak English or German.
